Anyone using one of these yet, they’re quite new to the market, and I am unable to programme mine using Chirp as its not ton the list of models available. How do I get this on the list please?

The BF-999s has been around for at least 4 years. The original request
to have it supported by CHIRP was back in 2017 (issue #5253). That
request was twice duplicated by issues #5711 and #5927.

Like the BF-666s and BF-777s, BF-999s is just a variant of the Baofeng
BF888s.If you watch this YouTube video from 2017 (link below), it
states that the BF-999s is "electronically and mechanically the same
radio" and proceeds to program it using the Vendor: Baofeng / Model:
BF-888 selections.
