I apologize, as I took Jim's response as more of a stopgap while the FR was to be provided, as opposed to the notion where the radio functions in one way over the other.

You simply program them into the appropriate channel range. They will
then be stored in the radio in their corresponding banks.

Bank 1: 1-100
Bank 2: 101-200
Bank 3: 201-300
...
Bank 10: 901-1000
