It's not on the menu There is no way to access the blue key functions, one of which is scan. What is the secret? There are YouTube of the radio in scan mode, but no instructions

This has nothing to do with CHIRP, but you press and hold the [*SCAN] key
until scanning starts.
Visit the Miklor.com website for much info about the UV-5R and several other Baofeng radios.
