In a terminal session try: sudo apt-get update –fix-missingsudo apt-get install -fsudo apt-get dist-upgradesudo apt-get autocleansudo apt-get cleansudo apt-get autoremove
This should cleanup his environment and make sure he is current on the build he is running.
After that launch chirp and verify the version is current Daily-20170510
If not re run these steps: sudo apt-add-repository ppa:dansmith/chirp-snapshots sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install chirp-daily
