90 percent of the time it comes down to driver issues. Even if the seller sent a drivers with doesn't mean its compatible. See the miklor.com and the link attached. This will walk you through the driver issues step by step and download locations.

Any help would be appreciated, even if that help tells me that I need to contact the seller, Sundely @ Amazon about a bad cord.
