I joined the list to learn about issues so I could avoid or correct them.
Replies just to the person who asked the question would make the list useless to me and limit my ability to learn.
There is the Delete key and the ability to make 'Rules', 'Actions', 'Filters', etc to manage your emails. I'd suggest the use of those to do so.

A mail list, or reflector as it is commonly called by some, is, by definition, "reply all" - you explicitly signed on to see each question and in turn, any responses that question generates.
If, after reading a message in the thread you decide you are no longer interested in the thread, it is on you to ignore follow-up responses.
Some mail list tools, like groups.io, allow subscribers to 'mute' a topic and no longer receive responses to the 'muted' thread. This mail list does not offer such a facility.

If you fully unplug the programming cable from the radio (no connection at all) and attempt a download, the result will be the same error. <Radio_did_not_respond.png> Make sure you have selected the correct port. My programming cable is assigned COM3 but my computer has an internal serial port with nothing connected to it that is assigned COM1. If I accidentally choose COM1, I get the same error. <Radio_did_not_respond.png> Use Device Manager to determine which COM port number is assigned to the programming cable. Mine has been assigned COM3. <2021-01-28 08_20_23-Device Manager.png> No programming software can work until there is a complete and working connection between the radio and computer.
