Hmm, okay. Well, if you could do the following it would help:
1. Try the latest daily, just to be sure. I don't think it will matter,
but it's best to rule out.
2. Please grab the debug.log file that gets generated after you try
(and fail) to do the download and after you close chirp.
I'm presuming you have the FT-857D (US Version) running on Windows,
what, XP?
