That didn't work for me on 20.04. I can try it again later -- perhaps I messed something up.

That said, I am still interested in helping to get Chirp working with Python 3.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:dansmith/chirp-snapshots
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chirp-daily

Then go to CONTROL Panel, SOFTWARE AND UPDATES and edit the CHIRP entry to point to XENIAL.
