[chirp_users] Using Chirp with Icom V82

Is there anything special or sequence of keys needed to get Chirp to work with an Icom V82?

I put the radio into Clone mode and try reading and writing. I have hit the PTT to read and write. In every case Chirp says it cannot determine the radio model number and gives an error.

Any suggestions?
