Granted, Fred, but I have little patience with people who won’t take a second to explore, their knee-jerk reaction being to have someone ‘do it for me’.  I’m also not an ‘old style’ Ham who grouses at everything.  :)  This is so common for ANY email list that it should be expected by now.  It’s been going on for a decade or more.  But for the rest, maybe the suggestion below might be useful….

——>>>> Perhaps if the list owner would add a tag to the lines at the bottom, as many lists do, that says: “to UNSUBSCRIBE click here:” and the list URL.  I’m sure that wouldn’t 100% fix it, but it might be an assisting step or at least something those who are ruffled could point to in disgust.  :)

Not a good idea to be too critical, boys.
Those of you who present as knowledgable, get asked the questions.
Something like the teacher in a classroom.

If you belittle the kid who asks what you think is a dumb question, he won't do it again.

So then what?

Eventually, you will live in your own little world and nobody will ask you anything.

Pretty soon you will be asking the "dumb" questions.

I wonder who will answer.

Maybe we should stop this stuff.
