From what I can see, the s in the skip column seems to set the radio so it
skips that channel when in the scan mode. It still allows transmit on the channel when selected.

Hi James, I can't be certain this will work for your particular radio but if you activate the letter s in the skip column in chirp that may accomplish what you are trying to do. that indicates to the radio not to transmit on that frequency. hope this helps.

Now what I am trying to do is import some local public service frequencies, but have the transmit turned off on these channels.
