oh... i have to choose 'bf-f8hp' radio even though the unit is more similar to uv-5r than f8hp, b/c of the 3-power levels.. anyways, sounds like there could be fields based on radio type, so, power level would be really nice to have... Thanks...

Hi Those are used for D-Star in Icom radios. Odd they appear for non-DStar radios. WenlockVK3YWB

Thanks Jim, others, what about "next import from CSV overwrites all values to high it seems.." any way to prevent that? import/export is pretty common/required operation. I would think chirp should export a "power" field as it is displayed on the program window, if later it gets imported into a radio with no power, I assume that program will not display that power field, then the import should just IGNORE that field.. I think having CSV w/power field would go a long way... does anyone know what these 4 fields are for? Comment URCALL RPT1CALL RPT2CALL
Thanks.

Now, is there a way in chirp to:
- change ALL channels to LOW or HIGH/MED ? it seems very tedious to do one
by one, and even if you do, next import from CSV overwrites all values to high it seems.
To change this setting or multiple settings on multiple channels at once...
Highlight the channel rows that you want to change using "click", "shift-click", and/or "ctrl-click" (click a row to highlight it and then press Ctrl-A to quickly highlight them all). Click the [Properties] button or right-click a highlighted channel row and select "Properties" from the menu that appears. Scroll down to the Power setting then tick the box to enable editing this setting. Change the setting to the desired power level. Click the [OK] button.
