I used factory software to configure as a 2/220 radio it was showing 2/440. I can not save the programing in the factory software or upload the file from the radio it uploads a little and then gives a connection error. Factory will download to radio but once I close the program I get to start over again. Chirp will let me upload the file but, errors out the 220 repeaters but not the 220 simplex frequencies. If I edit and reenter the repeaters I can download the file to the radio and it works but I just opened the saved file on my computer and it has error'd out the repeaters again. Also as I enter frequencies in the radio, 2 meters shows an offset of .600 but by the time I add the offset that has changed to 0.00 same on 220 the offset changes to 0.0 even though I have entered a + or - offset. At least the radio is programmed so, thanks for the help.

This is because your radio is telling CHIRP is it a VHF/UHF model. It was probably configured incorrectly from the factory. I've see it before.
You can likely "fix" it using the factory software. Email a freshly downloaded CHIRP Radio Images (*.img) file to me and I can help you with it.
