[chirp_users] CHIRP and VX-6: impossible to upload from Mac

Hi all,

I am quite new to this community so greetings to everyone.

Downloading from the radio to the Mac goes just smooth. On the other hand it is impossible from OS X to upload an img file to the VX-6 since it deeply crashes OS X and the only solution is to press and hold the power button (chirp-daily-20201014 and High Sierra).

I detailed the issue while updating this bug https://chirp.danplanet.com/issues/5543 but I was wondering if anyone had similar issues or has some bright ideas.
