The first URL gave a 404, and I avoid FB like a plague, it is a security violation, and a trojan, but thank you anyhow.
I hit Amazon and got me one, should be here on the 2nd. I will give it a run. Looking forward to getting on some of the 220 machines around here.
I pretty much stay on DMR, but 220 should be a nice tech band, it was in other places where I have been.

I have 2. They have features that Baofengs do not have. There are some glitches, but nothing that is really a deal breaker.
Chirp is the only software available for them, and it supports all functions of the radio. It is very well implemented.

I have a 5X3 and fortunate enough to have several 220 repeaters within handheld range. Very satisfied with the radio, and it is totally supported by CHIRP. John K3NXU http://www.miklor.com/COM/Review_5X3.php <http://www.miklor.com/COM/Review_5X3.php>____
