Ok. So that means all my channels need to be TSQL if I am to be able to transmit and receive, if that's the only one where you can TX and RX. Unhiding the fields allowed me to see it was putting info in Tone and ToneSql even though hidden the Tone showed blank.

I've been putting kenwood QT/DQT enc in the chirp ToneSql, and where kenwood TX and RX are the same, I still put kenwood QT/DQT enc in ToneSql, but don't know if Tone should be TSQL, None, or Tone.
It is covered in the guides in the link that I provided.
When...
Tone Mode= (None), both the Tone and ToneSql columns are ignored
Tone Mode= Tone, the Tone column is used to specify the TX CTCSS tone and the ToneSql column is ignore (RX is carrier squelch).
Tone Mode= TSQL, the Tone column is ignored and the ToneSql is used to specify the TX/RX CTCSS tone.
If you click View and enable "Hide Unused Fields" then only the selective squelch columns that are being used will have values in them.
