[Dan Smith dsmith@danplanet.com] Build with python 2.6 and GTK 2.12 instead of the recent change to python 2.7 and GTK 2.24, which does not seem to work properly on Windows Vista/7 with Aero enabled.

This should make things better on Windows 7 and Vista. I would appreciate some validation of this fact by users of those systems. Also, it would be good to bang on all parts of this build by all Windows users to make sure that going back to the older version(s) didn't cause any trouble.
