When you edit the subject of an email so that it LOOKS as if it is a new thread, it does not change the internal header information.
Your header still contains information that indicates it is a "Reply to" message.
This is what is in your header:

This is a test of another method of replying and getting a new subject. I replied to the message I got, but I changed the subject completely, then wrote my message.
