A similar question was posted a while back. Had something
to do with file permissions if I recall correctly. So you may want
to check into that. Vista included Microsofts maiden launch of
Protected User Mode and UAC (User Access Control.) Go to Google.com and type in "UAC Disable." Like I explained off list to you I've seen my
fair share of oddball anomalies in Vista and found ways to take back
control of my system from the claws of the UPM and UAC and possible
solve your problems. You also might go to the Chirp directory and
find the Chirp executable and make another shortcut to the desktop.
