If I understand right FT-1Ds originally came with an SCU-18 cable (my case) and later they changed to the SCU-19.  Does that matter to Chirp?  I intend to run Chirp on Ubuntu 14.04.  The drivers fo SCU-18 and SCU-19 are different for Windows.
