[chirp_users] Question about disabling transmit on a Baofeng UV-5x

Once you have uploaded from the radio (or loaded a saved image from the model you are using) you can disable transmit by:

1 - click "Settings" on the extreme left (There is a column that says "Memories" and "Settings" - click on Settings)

2 - click on "Other Settings" in the second menu column

3 - Change the VHF and UHF frequency limits as desired (e.g. 144-148 and 420-450)

You can disable transmit all together by unchecking the boxes next to VHF and UHF "TX Enable"
