Has there been any interest other run myself in a chirp version of software for the UV-55? I just bought this rig and I'm waiting on the cable and software to arrive. I was wondering if anyone knows what this radios limits are. [chirp_users] Anytone AT-5888UV

Anyone developing support for the Anytone AT-5888UV? I own two radios and to be honest their software sucks big time. It will crash if you breath too hard sitting at your PC. Not sure what all the program developers would need to work on software for this radio, but I'd be willing to contribute actual programmed files and the software can be downloaded from imporcommunications.com. The Prolific USB driver is included. I'd also donate some cash to help out there as long as I knew work was being done for supporting this rig. Sent from my 15.4" MacBook Pro, i7 quad core

[chirp_users] CHIRP daily-20130122 fail to read Wouxun KG-UV6D

Prolific driver for OS-X Mountain Lion 32 and 64 bit installed correctly. Verified using: ioreg -c IOSerialBSDClient | grep usb and kextstat | grep usb port appears in /dev as cu.usbserial device shows up in networking as cu.usbserial device shows up in chirp as USB-Serial (name I gave it.) When I read from the radio the read (clone) dialog box appears but no data is received, the green light on the radio doesn't blink and then after a few seconds a dialog box stating communication error appears. Anything I'm missing? Sent from my 15.4" MacBook Pro, i7 quad core

Hi all in a few weeks I'm going to organize a presentation of chirp at local club. The idea is to show how it works (from end user point of view), how to use it with different radios and then have a quick look on what supporting a new model mean. Before to reinvent the weel, is there any one that have slides or similar docs (maybe from previous presentation) that can save me some work? Also remove old debug print. Related to #453
