Is anyone working on adding the IC-9700 to Chirp? I've never added a rig to Chirp but would enjoy learning to (just read the 'How to add a new radio driver' page). I spend my workdays in an RF lab writing python and hopefully there will be plenty of overlap.

Not that I know of, but I suspect that will be a fairly small change to the icomciv driver. I'd look at the IC7300 and IC7610 radios in there to get started.
