[chirp_devel] issue #967 - Add support for Yaesu FT1DR radio
This patch combines all of the previous patches and adds some new APRS fixes.
I was unable to get mecurial to talk to my smtps server so hopefully the attachment works.

This apply smoothly. I already tested (on previous patches) clone in and out, pasted my standard 100 memories ... so far so good!
I'm going to play a little with settings ...
ahn .... TNX! You saved me from writing this driver myself :)
About mercurial: I really like TortoiseHg graphical interface for all "non routine" operations

Great. Did you need to change the model ?
Some of my initial tests failed because my standard list has some channels set to NFM. I need to look into the digital modes as well.

Good luck !
No changes needed to clone radio. I'm looking to an exception which prevent me from going to settings tab, I'll write a patch myself if needed, ok?

FYI -- There is (or was?) an issue with the VX-8 banks implementation due to inclusion of "built-in" memories (such as Marine VHF) in banks.
The channel location stored as a result of using a built-in memory doesn't index into the structure with the 900 user programmable memories which triggers an exception when trying to bring up the banks tab.
It wasn't clear what the value stored was referencing. I think Sean Burford had a theory it might be a pointer into the ROM, instead of the eeprom.
