I'm unable to get FT-60 to write. Read works, so IO is working. For me, the header write doesn't have get any response, and write initiation fails. Has anyone succeeded? Dan doesn't own one so he hasn't tested write directly. It's failing for me with the nightly on Linux and Windows, using an FTDI USB device. Before I debug my hardware further, I'd like to see if any developer has seen write work.

Just to be clear, I borrowed one for about a week when I first wrote the driver. So I did many (many) writes successfully to it during that time. I also recently programmed a bunch of radios in my group for people to a standard plan, of which three were FT-60s. However, on all of them, I had to exert force on the plug to get the clone to finish.
I'm sorry for the confusion. I've ordered an integrated USB cable for the FT60 and will try again with that. I guess it's hardware.
