Well I am trying the email direct from HG. I have TFA setup Please can you send me a working hgrc file. No idea why it asks for a cc

You can hit enter at the cc prompt to indicate "none".

Sorry it's crappy support questions, there is not a full hgrc file on the wiki to show how to use the app name and app password.

You need to configure authentication to use it with gmail. There are instructions for gmail specifically on the process page:

Other people here can probably help with gmail-specific quirks. I'm not a gmail user myself.
