My testing indicates that it is OK to apply these patches. Jim KC9HI
Thanks Jim!

Thanks Jim and Marco.
Dan, please add this patch onto the 3 in this series.
Thanks, Jens

Thanks for making these changes. Refactoring over copying is always better, so I appreciate you doing the work upfront to make the maintenance easier.
Dan, please add this patch onto the 3 in this series.
Could you send these in separate mails like the others? My patch apply/test bot doesn't understand multiple patch attachments per email, and if it did, I'm sure I'd have some ordering issues. If it's okay with you, it's much easier for me to keep straight if they show up in ordered and tagged emails like what "hg email" does:
[PATCH][1 of 3] Foo bar...
I can apply them by hand, but it's just much easier for me to let the bot do it and test each one before it does.
Is there some reason that the patchbomb extension doesn't work for you?
Thanks!

Thanks Dan, I can only use my yahoo webmail interface for sending patches and interacting with chirp_{users,devel} as this is my secondary email, and the webmail interface is the only way to make the emails originate from kd4tjx@yahoo.com ;)
I may look at changing this sometime in the future...
For now, I'll manually send these out in the format you suggest ;)

Okay, seems like there has to be something you can do about that. You don't need to send from the same address that are on the patches, if it makes sense to send from another SMTP-friendly address or something.
For now, I'll manually send these out in the format you suggest ;)
Thanks, sorry for generating a little more work.

Are you sure?

We'll it's a "secondary" email. Anyhow, I'm trying to see if I can use my primary email but set my from address to the secondary... If this gets thru without moderation, then seems I can use this route ;)
