Hello Matthieu,

I think this meant to go to the mailing list, not only me, but I will try to answer.
To create a translation, you'll need a program called poedit. (http://www.poedit.net/download.php)

Please create a new issue here ( http://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/issues/new ) to request a new translation, and we'll get the file you'll need for the translation. Note you'll need to register yourself on the website, if you have not already, to create an issue.

Hi,

I use Chirp (Linux) with VX-8GE and FT-7900 for several months and I like this app !
With my ham radio SAR association, we want to use Chirp for the new UV5R fleet.

Are you interested in a French translation ?

How can I help you ?
But I am not a programmer, juste simple OM.
