Read and write is what Wouxun CPS uses.... but at least adding "To radio " or "From Radio" would help clarify direction of transfer for those less radio/computer literate.

As upload and download are dependent on your perspective.

I think based on the responses so far, as well as me asking a few less-developer-y local people, it seems clear the Read/Write crowd has the numbers. I'm a little bummed because (a) it's a change and (b) Ctrl-W and Cmd-W are already used for closing abs (in chirp and elsewhere). So I guess I'll have to pick something else, likely Ctrl-Alt-W and Ctrl-Cmd-W.
