[chirp_devel] No import trap in tmd710g.py

Dan- I realize that I did not trap the "from builtins import bytes" statement in my tmd710g.py driver. Other developers who have not installed the future package will get a build failure. So, better hold off on that one while I figure out the best way to edit to prevent registration.

Am I right that the only required changes to older drivers for py3 are the bytes() usage and Special Channels after normal ones? I suppose we should migrate to using  str.format instead of % eventually.

Is it time to start going back and modifying older drivers?
