The master reset should be the one with [F] and [V/M] keys, as of my knowledge, but I don't really know if it clean memories area.

FWIW, I've never seen a Yaesu/Vertex radio that does actually clean its memories on a reset. It's really annoying and makes it nearly impossible to get a clean memory image without a fresh-from-factory radio.
