Since it is the year end, I just did a quick look at how the list of supported radios changed over the last year using the list on the wiki page. By my rough count, support for 13 new radio models have been added in 2013.

Thanks to Dan, and all of the developers, for all of their hard work and making it freely available not only to use but to learn from.

Thanks, Rob. Really, most of the kudos go to the other folks doing lots of excellent work on CHIRP these days. Especially Jim, Tom, Jens, and Marco have moved the state of the art forward in the CHIRP world quite a bit in 2013.
