[chirp_devel] New chirp developer starting to work on FT-50 driver

Hello everyone!

I am new to chirp development. I thought I would take a shot at rewriting the FT-50 driver to the new bitwise format and hopefully get the driver working. I know several people have attempted this in the past but it hasn't quite been completed. If anyone has worked on this driver before and has any info that may help I'd appreciate it if you sent it my way.

Also, I've been looking through several of the drivers and they all seem to have a little different style. Anyone know which driver is closest to the "ideal" style so I can model my code in the same form? Or perhaps at least which Yaesu driver is the best one to follow.
